Young Artists Inspired

In the art studio classroom at Hollywood High School, a handful of eager magnet students meet OITNB stars, Julie Lake and Vicky Jeudy during a meet greet after their photo shoot by The Artists Project founder Michael Bezjian.

Bezjian and his team were visiting Hollywood High’s New Media Academy and Performing Arts Magnet. They brought the photography studio to the classroom and gave the students the star treatment. Students received hair and makeup services by professional stylists in the same seats where they usually sat and listened to their teacher.

“It was a great experience meeting and asking questions to real actors,” said Winston, the lead in the school’s seasonal production of Goldoni’s Servant of Two Masters.

The Artists Project dedicates a lot of resources to ensure that the youth can have the opportunity to follow their dreams. They take the responsibility to inspire the youth, by providing a free studio where any young artist can receive free headshots and opportunity to meet a Celebrity Mentor and get all of their questions answered.

Many artists have come through our doors like The Ochoa Boyz, Connor Dean, and Miss Santa Barbara Danielle Carrillo, just to name a few.

“It’s all about inspiration,” said Michael Bezjian, “the TAP team is always looking for more ways to get involved with the community.”
